Angel Binner - Board Member
Born and raised in Minnesota, Angel Binner graduated from Roseville High School, then attended Maine Maritime Academy where she graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation and 100/200 ton inland and near coastal boat licenses. She began working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2005 on the Dredge Thompson/Goetz as a deckhand. In 2013, Angel was offered a position at Lock and Dam #1 in Minneapolis/St. Paul. She worked there for 2 years, then transferred to Lock and Dam #2, where she is currently employed as Lock Operator.
Please note that Ms. Binner serves on the Board of Directors as a private citizen, not an official representative of the Corps of Engineers. Her personal focus is on river safety, and more specifically lock safety. |
