Linda Michie
Executive Director, Fundraising and Grant Coordinator

Linda resides on the shore of the Mississippi River in Pool 2 where she and her family have enjoyed boating, fishing swimming, camping and observing nature for more than 30 years. She has been involved with Friends of Pool 2 since its inception in late 2011, and became Executive Director in August of 2012. Recently retired from a career as a registered architect, Linda also holds a leadership role with Newport on the Move, a non-profit organization that works to improve the quality of life in Newport. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of Newport Citizens Organization. Linda is a former Board Member and Officer of the Friends of Fort Snelling, as well.
