Emily Evans - Board Member

Emily attended the University of California Santa Cruz, where she earned a degree in environmental studies with a concentration in agroecology (the application of ecological principles to agricultural systems and practices) and sustainable food systems. She pursued coursework in sustainable water systems and took a particular interest in river pollution, primarily from agriculture.

She currently works at a hydroponic basil farm, and she aspires to become a Compliance Investigator. Emily loves our Mississippi river and especially Pool 2. She is a member of the Saint Paul Yacht Club, where she keeps her 25 ft Maxum SCR. The favorite part of her day is walking down the dock to see all the wildlife hosted by that Pool 2 marina.
